REI ESCAPE is a campaign concept centered around REI being the bridge of connection for city dwellers who have a knack for the outdoors. It serves as a foundation for the REI and outdoor communities to meet others with similar interests and pursue those interests together. This project was developed through mockups, billboard designs, and brand elements.
This website is where adventurers get to join their outdoor group and learn about their group’s meetups, members, and other events. You can see others who have RSVP’d for meetups and look at their REI profile.
This concept includes a fleet of vans that would serve as the catalyst to the outdoors. REI will coordinate meetups in the chosen cities, such as Denver, and these vans will take each group to their respective activity: climbing, skiing, hiking etc.
