Champion Catalysts

Champion Catalysts is a rapidly growing NIL based agency which serves to help college athletes develop their personal branding and find success. This agency is now exclusively for female athletes and prides itself on empowering these women.

When I joined the team, my task was to help rebrand their media presence on instagram through revamped “Welcome” posts as well as create a new logo to represent the agency.

Logo Design

The shield/crest shape of this logo was the basis for the final product. Earlier iterations of the logo were sporty, minimal, and sleek, but lacked the character and feminine energy which the brand was reaching for. Therefore, the more script style font was chosen as the foundation of the logo and the “crown” on top was given a more delicate stroke style as opposed to a heavier, filled in crown. The back to back “C”s represent the community oriented aspect of the agency ‘having each others backs.’ Topped with the crown, this dubs the organization and it’s clients as “Champions.”

To kickoff the design overhaul on their instagram account, we started with a post commemorating the women that represented the U.S.A. by winning a medal in the Olympics. This post also marked the agency’s transition to representing exclusively female athletes, by recognizing professional female athletes .

My next task was to create a few posts highlighting the signing of their new biggest client, Avery Bracher, who is finding a huge amount of success on the soccer field at James Madison University, and has quite a substantial following on social media.

This project is currently ongoing but the branding and style of the agency has now been established to represent a professional, modern, and rapidly growing NIL agency.
